How can I access VietnamWorks?

First, you need to register for an account with us: click Join Now! at the For Employer section on the top right corner of VietnamWorks.com homepage.

Then, fill out the SignUp form as requested. Make sure all your submitted information is correct and the email address has not been used to sign up on VietnamWorks.com previously. Then click Sign Up Now button.

A confirmation email from VietnamWorks will be sent to your registered email. You will be requested to click on the link in this email to activate your account. Please follow the instructions and you will be led to the SignIn page of VietnamWorks.com.

Why can't I sign in?

Please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  • If you can't sign in, first you should verify that you are using the correct Email Address and Password.
  • Verify that you are entering Email Address and Password in the EmployerSignIn section at the top right of VietnamWorks homepage. Make sure that you are not at the SignIn section for Job Seekers.

I forgot my password, how can I retrieve it?

We always take cautious measures to protect our customers. To retrieve your password, on the homepage For Employers, click on Did you forget your password? link on your right in EmployerSignIn section.

Then submit Your Email Address as requested. You can now check your email inbox for the instruction to get new password.

How can I modify my password?

  • On the homepage for Employers, sign in with your registered email address and password.
  • On the top navigation bar, select My Account tab
  • Click Change Password link
  • Make any modifications you desire
  • Finally, click Save button

Your information in our database has been updated. You will receive an email from us confirming your account modification.

How can I change my information?

When should I change my Email Login?

Your are promoted to a higher position and no longer responsible for recruitment for your company? Format of your company email has been changed? etc. Simply Change Email Login and all your data and information will be maintained.

Remember to activate your account again using the link we include in the confirmation email sent to new email address.

Post Jobs

How do I post a job on VietnamWorks.com?

Right after you have registered with VietnamWorks.com as an employer (learn how), you can post a job online.

SignIn: On the homepage For Employers section, SignIn with your registered email address and password.

Click on Post Job tab on the top navigation bar, Step 1 - Job Creation will appear.

1.1 Under Job Information, you need to fill in all required information like Job Title, Job Level, Job Type, Salary Range, etc. of your desired candidate(s).

1.2 Under Job Location, choose at least one Work Location (where your candidates will work) by clicking >> button.

1.3 Under Job Category, select your desired job category. You can add as many categories as you want by hitting Add more category button.

* Extra Visibility, Extra Priority options: make your jobs bold (or bold & red) and appear on top of the search result page respectively.

* Extra Services: allow you to post your jobs on VietnamWorks homepage as Top Jobs or display your company logo in your job posting.

1.4. Click Save for later if you want to save for future use or click Continue to next step.

Step 2 - Job Description: you have 2 options to choose:

2.1 Use Job Description Library

- First, click on Job Description Library link, then select the category for your job posting.

- Next, select a job title under this category. A corresponding Job Description will appear in Your suggested job description box.

- If you like the suggested job description, click Add button. This job description will appear in Job Description box where you can edit or delete any info you want. Click Continue to next step.

2.2. Use your own job description.

Enter your own job description in Job Description box. Click Continue to next step.

Step 3 - Job Requirement: you need to give sufficient information required of the potential candidate.

3.1. In Job Information, enter required Years of experience, Minimum career level and Minimum education level.

3.2. In Language, select language and proficiency. Tick box Required for any languages if needed.

3.3. In Computer Skills, select Skill Group, Skill, Proficiency and Years of use. Then hit Add button. Tick box Required for any skills if needed.

3.4. In Non-Technical Skills and Other Skills: select Skill, Proficiency and Years of use. Then hit Add button. Tick box Required for any skills if needed. Click Continue to go to next step.

Step 4 - Job Contact: fill in your contact details like Company Name, Company Address, Phone, Email Address. You can select to hide your email from job seekers. Click Continue to go to next step.

Step 5 - Preview Job Posting: You can preview or edit any job information. Then click Continue to go to next step.

Step 6 - Billing: Fill in your billing contact such as Company Name, Customer Contact, Billing Email etc. If everything is satisfactory, click one of 3 payment methods: Bank Transfer, Cash or Credit Card to complete the Job Posting process.

Upon receipt of your payment, your jobs will be online on VietnamWorks.com.

How do I view or edit my posted job(s) on VietnamWorks.com?

A significant benefit of posting jobs online is that you can review/edit your job anytime, anywhere.

  1. On the homepage For Employers section. SignIn with your registered email address and password,
  2. Select My Recruitment Center tab on the top navigation bar.
  3. Click My Jobs link under the navigation bar or Manage Jobs link in MyJobs box.
  4. Click Edit link associated with the Job you want to review/modify and you will be able to edit the contents of the Job.
  5. To view the whole job posting, click Preview Job Posting. Then click Continue to review the payment again.
  6. After making sure all modifications are correct, click Finish.

I completed editing my job as instructed, but why hasn't the posting info been changed?

When you change or add locations, category of posted jobs or premium services, your Account Manager will contact you for confirmation and additional charge for the modifications. When the extra fee is paid, your posting online will be changed accordingly.

How do I delete my posted job(s) on VietnamWorks.com?

To delete your jobs, check the box before the Job ID then click Delete Checked Boxes button. However, you cannot delete jobs which have been approved online.

If you want to delete your online jobs or your postings forever, please send request to your Account Manager or Customer Service Department at support@vietnamworks.com.

Are there any other ways to have my jobs listed?

If you are time-strained, you might prefer having someone else post the jobs for you. Just contact our professional Business Development team at:

The great thing is that you won't loose the chance to review/edit your job anytime, anywhere. Just contact your VietnamWorks Account Manager for the email login and password to do that.

My Job Posting is getting fewer Resumes. Is something wrong?

To improve the responses to your Job Posting, you can try editing your wording to include more relevant information or exclude unnecessary information; this will make Job Seekers find your Job Posting more attractive. Changing the Category may also improve the response. You should also verify that the email address is working.

What does my job status mean?

If you want to view your job status, click on My Jobs (in My Recruitment Center)

  1. Incomplete: Your job has been posted but not complete. A job is complete when you press button Done after filling in all information.
  2. Pending Approval: Your job has been posted successfully but not approved online.
  3. Approved: Your job is online now and job seekers can view it on VietnamWorks.com
  4. Modified Pending Approval: The modification in your posting requests more payment. An email is sent to confirm these details.
  5. Expired: Your job's validity for being online has been over.
Search Resumes

How do I search resumes on VietnamWorks.com?

  • Select Advanced Search tab on the top navigation bar:
    • First, enter specific keywords of the resume you are seeking for. Then in Resumes Must Match, choose either any of my keywords, all of my keywords or this exact phrase.
    • Fill out the remaining fields like Desired Job Location, Job Level, Number of Years Experience...
    • Click Search button to view Search Result.
    • Click resume name to view details.
  • Select Category Search: this function helps you search for candidates in a specific category e.g. Marketing, Sales, Customer Care etc.
    • Select the category where you want to find resumes.
    • 30 resumes of that category will be displayed on each page with the newest on top.
    • Click resume title to view details.
  • You can also search resumes in Graduate® Search and MBA® Search for specific requirement.

Note: On Search Result page you can modify search criteria with the left hand side toolbar.

How can I save resumes for later use?

On Resume Search Result page, check the box before the candidate's name, then click Save.

Alternatively, you can also save a resume via left hand-side toolbar during viewing.

Attention: You should save interesting resumes in your computer (select Save to file in ResumeDetail) because you can’t view them after your resume search expires.

How can I print resume of selected candidate with fine format?

Printable version provides a print-friendly version of the resume you want to print. After clicking on a candidate's resume title, click on Printable version on the left navigation bar of Resume Details to view the whole resume before printing.

I found a very good resume, how can I send to my boss/ colleagues or friend?

VietnamWorks.com provides a useful tool for you to forward a candidate's resume to your friend.

First, check box before a candidate's resume title, then hit Forward resume button. The Email to friend page will open. After filling in Your Friend's Email address, click Send to Friend button.

What do the Education Levels mean?

    • High School: a high school diploma or GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
    • Associate's Degree: a 2-year degree at an accredited institution after people complete high school.
    • College: level of study of people going to college after they have completed high school study.
    • Bachelor's Degree (i.e., BA, BS, etc.): An academic degree conferred by a college or university upon those who complete 4 years of undergraduate study.
    • Post-graduate:Any advanced degree earned after a Bachelor's Degree
    • Master's Degree: An academic degree conferred by a college or university upon those who complete at least one year of study beyond the bachelor's degree, e.g. MBA
    • MBA: Master of Business Administration: advanced degree in business
    • Doctorate: the highest university degree
    • MD: Doctor of Medicine - advanced university degree needed to work as a medical doctor
    • JD: Juris doctor, or doctor of jurisprudence, the degree commonly conferred by law schools.
    • CPA: A Certified Public Accountant: people completed the training and passed a state exam to become an accountant

My Recruitment Center

To access My Recruitment Center, you just follow two steps below:

· In the homepage For Employers section, SignIn with your registered email login and password

· Click on My Recruitment Center bar

My Recruitment Center has these major parts:

1. MyJobs is a place storing all your posted jobs. This tool helps you to view/edit/delete or renew your jobs any time you want. You are also enabled to view the status of your posted jobs.

2. Resume Alert. automatically forwards all suitable resumes based on your search criteria to your email.

3. My Candidate allows you to Manage Applications of candidates applying to your jobs online or View Saved Candidates.

  1. Online candidates are those who apply for your postings via VietnamWorks.com. Whenever a candidate applies for a position, you will receive a notification from us. At the same time, the application is saved to your Online Applications folders.
  2. When searching, you can save candidates' resumes which match your requirements. All Saved Resumes can be viewed easily later.

4. My Email Template is a useful tool for you to Create/ Manage Email Templates sent to candidates. Using templates helps you save time when you need to contact multiple candidates.

5. Hiring Advice provides useful recruitment tips and latest information of the labor market.

How can I manage my candidates?

Please click on:

  1. My Online Candidates link under the navigation bar or Manage Applications link in MyCandidate box to view applications of candidates applying online for your posted jobs
  2. My Saved Resumes link under the navigation bar or View Saved Candidates link in MyCandidate box to manage resumes you saved when searching,

You can send email to candidates for an interview, reject their applications or send an offer letter by using our Send Email tool.

Select an appropriate template, fill in the subject and send to candidates

What should I do to receive suitable resumes?

My Resume Alerts will automatically forward all resumes suitable to your profile to your registered email address.

  1. Click on My Resume Alerts link under the navigation bar.
  2. Next, click Create Resume Alert. Specify keyword(s), select appropriate location and resume category (ies).
  3. Finally, click Save

If you ever want to edit an existing Resume Alert, go through the same steps. On the Resume Alert page, click on Save link and make any modifications you desire.

I do not want to receive Resume Alert to my mailbox, what should I do?

  1. Click on My Resume Alerts link under the navigation bar or Manage Resume Alerts link in the Resume Alert box.
  2. Select job alert you want to delete by ticking the checkbox.
  3. Click Delete Checked Boxes button and you are done.

How can I create an email template?

  1. Click on My Email Templates link or Create Email Template link in MyEmailTemplate box
  2. Create a template as instructed, then click Save for later use
  3. My Email Template allows you to create/save/edit or delete the template emails you need to send to your candidates.

Email Templates save your time in contacting candidates. You can also track the status of your communication with candidates in your list after that.

Print Ads

I want to use your Print Ads service, what should I do?

Besides online recruiting services, VietnamWorks.com provides Print Ads service for customers who target on non-internet using job seekers. Our PrintAds service helps you save your time and cost compared to working with the newspapers directly.

  1. On the homepage For Employers section, click Post Your Ad button in the Print Ad box.
  2. You will be led to Print Ad Order form for you to fill in
  3. Fill in request and information for your recruitment ads. Please note that the more detailed information you provided, the faster your orders will be processed
  4. Press Submit to send us your order
  5. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address, please check all information provided

What will I get when using Print Ad service on VietnamWorks.com? What is the difference from contacting newspapers directly?

  • Yahoo!Mail: From your mail box, go to Addresses > Add Contact. On the next page, type VietnamWorks in the Nickname field, and services@vietnamworks.com in the Email field, then click Save.
  • Gmail: From your mail box, go to Contacts > Create Contact. On the next page, type VietnamWorks in the Name field, and services@vietnamworks.com in the Primary Email field, then click Save.
  • Notify VietnamWorks email as NOT Bulk/Spam:
